Apologies… I know I’m a little late updating this months specials. A surprise favorite of mine this month is the Trout, a fish that until now I’ve never tasted. It’s delicious, not only by itself but accompanied by the Olive tapenade is truly a delight. Your feedback on dishes is always appreciated so let us know what you think.
We were host to another fantastic wedding today. As always everything went smoothly, guests were welcomed with a lovingly prepared Pimms reception. Followed by a 3 course wedding breakfast of homemade red pepper and tomato soup, roast sirloin of beef with yorkshire pudding, finished with a delicious warm chocolate brownie. The menu received lots of compliments and requests for seconds which is always a pleasure to hear. After formalities were over guests found the bar, hit the dance floor and made the day a pleasure to be part of. To end things I’d like to wish our bride and groom all the best in the future, thank all your guests for being amazing, and look forward to seeing you all again very soon…
Our new specials menu is now available both in our restaurant and bar areas. Dishes include starters of Green Lipped Mussels, Baked Camembert and Smoked Mackeral to name but a few. Our main course selection is a culmination of various cuisines and includes a delicious Smoked Paprika, Spinach and Chorizo Risotto, Baked Cornish Cod with a Mussel Chowder and my favourite, Garlic and Rosemary Marinated Lamb Rump with Red Cabbage and Port and Red Current Jus.
